Artist talk and river walk, September 16, 2PM and 3PM. September 18, 3PM. Where: Installation site, West San Fernando Street, south side, where the
street crosses over the Guadalupe River and under the SR 87 Overpass. Please click on map for site location. Artists will talk about the the ideas behind the installation. Afterwards, Guadalupe River education specialists will guide us on a walking tour of the Guadalupe River. We will learn about the history and health of our city's river. Laurie Amat, opera signer and conceptual sound artist, will join us. She will also interpret the river, sonically. Free and open to the public.
